Kirsty Andrew is a London based artist with a Fine Art (Sculpture) Degree from Central Saint Martins (2015) and a Ceramics Diploma form City Lit (2023). She is midway through an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art, London.

Kirsty was brought up in the Lake District and has been living in London since 1993. Her work is influenced by memory, family, relationships, what is known and unknown, seen, and unseen and the contrast between natural and urban environments.

Kirsty researches her subject in depth. She thinks through the creative process by methodical, repetitive testing and making. Old ideas often coming back to the forefront years later.

Her practice is diverse. She has shown large and smaller scale sculptural works (incl. resin, fabric, plaster, glass); prints (etching / lithography); drawings and handmade books.

Kirsty had access to a sculptural ceramic studio during her time at ENSBA in Paris (2013). Following her Fine Art Degree, she decided to study this medium in more depth. Her approach is investigatory, and she is drawn to the versatility of clay.
