Kirsty Andrew is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and researcher. She holds a Fine Art (Sculpture) degree from Central Saint Martins (2015), a Ceramics Diploma from City Lit (2023), and an MA Ceramics & Glass from the Royal College of Art (2024). She is currently undertaking the MRes programme at the RCA and is a Trustee of the British Ceramics Biennial.

Drawing on personal experience, she explores memory, home and family dynamics, with a developing focus on her mother–daughter relationship and its central role in the formation of self. Underlying this is the early inversion of the maternal role, shaping creative identity over time. She considers how relationships give shape to “home” as both an internal and shared space, holding tensions of presence and absence, speech and silence. Through psychoanalysis, literature, interviews, and dialogue, she works through iterative processes in which language and making unfold together, tracing how we listen, remember, and hold one another across time.
